Waldorf Cuddle Doll

This one of a kind 8 inch Waldorf preschool doll is so cuddly! She (or he) is hand made by me with cotton rich velour, double stitched for durability, and stuffed with premium cleaned and carded wool. I've made the head in the traditional Waldorf method with medium blue eyes and a tiny pink stitch for the mouth. Cheeks are blushed with Stockmar No.1 beeswax crayon. The wee hands are attached to the sleeves with three rounds of hand stitching and the non removable hat is stitched on with two rounds of stitching.

Each of my dolls is lovingly created according to Waldorf pedagogy, which values the role of imaginative play in the development of the child. The doll's minimalistic features allow it to better respond to the child's emotions and creativity. As the doll is held it will become warm and absorb the scent of the child and his or her environment.

This listing is for one 8 inch cloth doll. Measurements are careful, although somewhat approximate, as the doll is rounded. Doll is not intended for children under 3.
