What materials do you use to make your dolls?

I create Rosemary Garden Dolls using premium DeWitte cotton interlock doll skin fabric from The Netherlands or Swiss Laib Yala cotton doll skin fabric. This is then stuffed with cleaned and carded natural wool. Facial features are added to the doll using DMC embroidery floss and a Stockmar beeswax crayon blushes the cheeks and brings the doll to life. The hair is always natural fibers, crocheted into a simple short fluffy wig or longer strands to create a variety of styles. I may use DollyMo, Weir Crafts or a handmade weft.

Are your dolls appropriate for all ages?

Rosemary Garden Dolls are not safe for children under three, as they may contain small parts or fluffy hair. Cuddle Dolls are lovely as a first doll, with the dress up dolls intended for older children or adults.
