Cuddle Sleepy Baby Doll

This sleepy and cuddly bunting baby has been stitched with premium DeWitte doll skin fabric and soft cotton rich velour in the shade “Pink”. She is wearing a matching wee pixie hat that is not removable. This cutie is stuffed with cleaned and carded Canadian wool. Her simple features are hand stitched with DMC embroidery floss and the thread is Gütermann. Her wee cheeks are lightly blushed with Stockmar beeswax crayon No.1. This wooly child is approximately 8 inches tall and cannot easily stand alone.

I’m a mom and safety is the most important thing for me when considering items for children and this little bunting doll is the style that I made for my own young children, many years ago. There are no parts to lose, seams are double or triple stitched and she is stuffed just right, safely inviting hugs and cozy cuddles. Although she may be spot cleaned, machine or hand washing of the entire doll is not recommended.

Each of my dolls is lovingly created according to Waldorf pedagogy, which values the role of imaginative play in the development of the child. The doll's minimalistic features allow it to better respond to the child's emotions and creativity.
