I love everything about this cuddly little wooly child! Olivia is such a delightful little one and with each stitch I felt her happiness and joy that she would soon be in the world and looking for her new family. I couldn’t stop smiling when I saw her as I came into the studio each day and I hope that you love her as much as I do!
Cutie pie Olivia is 11 inches tall and is dressed in a wee organic poplin tunic and cozy organic velour knickerbockers. The sky blue fabric for her top is from the “Modern Love” collection by Monaluna and I’ve used organic ribbing for the cuffs from Birch Fabric. The flower accent is a wooden button that I’ve securely sewn on the bottom front and the back closes with two hand sewn metal snaps. Olivia’s coral knickerbockers are so soft and keep her round little tummy cozy and warm. Under her tunic and knickerbockers she is wearing light blue organic knit panties and her shoes are Manos Del Uruguay extra fine merino wool in the colorway “Cotton Candy”.
I’ve made Olivia with premium DeWitte Engel doll jersey in the shade “114” and she is stuffed with cleaned and carded Canadian wool. Her hair is Weir Crafts Mohair Yarn in the shade “Camel” and I’ve used DMC cotton floss for the face stitches and Gutermann thread for the sewing of the doll and her clothing. Olivia’s cheeks are lightly blushed with Stockmar beeswax crayon No. 1. Welcome to the world, dear wooly child!
